How can with my poor words I hope to speak
Of when I first beheld thy brilliant sight
For what art I posess is far to meek
To give but pale reflections of thy might
Yet though my senses could not comprehend
My soul was flooded with thine holy light
Which seemed akin an ocean without end
Upon its waves there is a vessel weak
That is my life which I to thee commend
